(city omitted for privacy) The first 6-8 months are pretty great as you learn a lot in a short period of time. After that the job really starts to drag you down. You are expected to perform responsibilities outside your job description and the management is chronically I'll prepared. Most decisions for the stores are made on a whim and asking off is a hazard to your off days. They have no respect for sick employees and will actively encourage you to go in even when you are visibly ill. This job is great for learning the skills you need but I wouldn't look to work here for much more than a year for the resume bump.
Pros
Skill based learning, problem solving
Cons
Short breaks, no dedicated lunch time, erratic work environment, poor management
Schedule flexible
Love working here for the most part. Schedule flexibility and co-workers are very easy to get along with. Located in a very nice part of town and offer a safe work environment.
Great company
I worked there years ago. I am still great friends with my bosses and owner of CPR Denver. Great company. Like family. The work there was incredible. Was given the opportunity for further electronic education.
Pros
Treat you like family.
Cons
Sometimes under staffed for the volume of work.
Meh
It was a job and that's about it to it.no real benefit and pay is what would expect from a job in this field which is to say not great. Overall a good learning experience
Laid back fun environment
Great place to work, management was laid back to allow work life balance. Took appropriate covid measures. No benefits offered. Compensation could be better but could be worse.
Pros
Healthy fun work environment

Great place to get some experience and then move onto something better.
This is a decent job if you have no experience with electronics. They will teach you how to fix many things such as phones, consoles, tablets etc. The only real issue with this place is the pay it is really low for what you're doing / expected. I would say its a great start for someone to just get some experience and move on.
Cons
Low pay, overworked for your pay. Management can be annoying sometimes
Fun place if you like tinkering with electronics
I'll start this review by saying that CPR is a franchise, so your mileage will definitely vary depending on your franchise owner. My owner is a great guy and gives us plenty of flexibility. When we're busy, we're busy. Repair after repair after repair, but once you've done 'em all, there's not a lot to learn until the new devices come out. Our downtime we spend doing pretty much whatever we want.
Cons
Every store will be different since they are a franchise
Great starter job
Don't expect too much in growth in the company. Pay is relatively low as well for how much you're expected to do. It's a great starter job, but wouldn't look for long term career here.
Great place to start
If you have the desire to start learning how to take apart cell phones and put them back together in a timely and effective manner, this is the place for you. The people I worked with were fantastic, every day was a new, fun experience. The only issue I ran into was a lack of hands on a day-to-day basis.
Engineering desktop
A typical day i wake up early get coffee and get right to work. I have always worked with great management and have learned to create and tear down motherboards. I've dealt with people from all over the world that's the most highlighting part of my job. It's rewarding and helping improve the clients one phone at a time.
It's All About The Franchise Owners
Other franchise locations may be different but mine was a disaster. No accountability with the owners. They didn't pay OT till they got caught not playing OT.
Cons
Lack of communication, no benefits, no support from ownership.
Great Experience
Overall my time at CPR has been fantastic. There have been rough patches but to say that CPR hasn't been the best job I've ever had would be a hard lie. I've grown as a technician and a person working here, and the experiences I've had here will always be with me. The people working at my side of CPR are the nicest people I've ever met and I have no plans of leaving. I wish the owner and everyone that works at this place the best of luck, and if you're reading this, know that this isn't just a throwaway job.
Pros
Experience, Nice People, Knowledgeable Coworkers and Management
Cons
The hours can be strict but I don't really consider that a negative
Small business ended up feeling corporate.
This is a franchise, so you will get wildly different cultures and experiences based on which CPR you worked. As for mine, I went in looking for a small business experience, and it ended up feeling very corporate.
Good
It was a good experience, and I love working there. I would recommend to anyone who is diligent and well-spoken and detail oriented. I left the job due covid and having to move back. Very nice manager and coworkers. Would gladly work there again!
Not a good place to work.
Horrible management. I was fired briefly after asking about maternity leave after had been working there as the most consistent employee. Would not recommend
Skill building for a young Tech
Great place to practice your tech skills, as well as improving your customer interaction. Everyday you will learn something new in the tech world. They also have a good team of technicians you can learn from.
Productive and skill building working place
In this job as a technician i was really challenged intellectuality. Devices would come in, in the worst shape and my job was to put the puzzle pieces together.
Cons
No room for advancement
Good company bad owner
The owner was the worst the company is not a company just a brand wish they would have had a hr for all their stores but not a chance
Bad pay, bad hours and no room for advancement
Bad pay, bad hours and no room for advancement wish I never worked here. I was told I would get a raise quickly.due to experience but my "significant raise" was 25 cents. I demanded more and then left.
Terrible company
Would absolutely not recommend this terrible company to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. I was "let go" after returning from my honeymoon. Are you kidding me?
Owners
Dishonest people to work for in every way. They do not follow through with anything they say they will and treat employees and customers that have had issues like they don't exist.
